Our report following a visit to the Rheumatology Centre at Cannock Chase Hospital in Cannock.
This was a semi-announced Enter and View visit which was conducted in response to mixed patient experiences received by Healthwatch Wolverhampton.
Summary of Findings
Generally, patients felt very well cared for on this unit. Staff were seen actively engaging with patients throughout the visit and on our arrival to the unit and it was clear that communication between staff and patients was excellent. A few recommendations have been made around signposting, feedback and the complaints process.
