Enter and View: Bentley Court Care Home
Our report following a visit to the Bentley Court Care Home in Wednesfield, which provides provides general and dementia nursing care for up to 76 residents.
This was an unannounced Enter and View visit conducted at Bentley Court Care Home in response to a number of factors, including:
- Follow up on concerns around potential hazards at the home and maintenance of resident’s dignity from a previous Enter and View visit which took place on 5 December 2016.
- The results of the CQC inspection which was published on 22 December 2017 which rated the service as requiring improvement.
Summary of Findings
The report highlighted a large number of recommendations around the following themes:
- Health and safety
- Building and equipment maintenance
- Staff training
- Essential services
- Information for residents, relatives and visitors
- Residents choice
- Being involved
