Enter and View: Penn Hospital, Mental Health Unit

Our report following a visit to Penn Hospital Mental Health Unit in Wolverhampton. This visit was part of our wider public engagement work in 2024 looking at people's experiences of local mental health services.

This was an announced Enter and View visit, but no specific date was given. Following recent public feedback about this hospital, we decided to combine this visit with our wider public engagement work looking at people’s experiences of mental health services in Wolverhampton.

This visit was in addition to the Enter and View visits we carry out as part of our ongoing partnership working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Wolverhampton City Council Quality Assurance Team to support quality monitoring of health and social care services in the city.
